Beginning in Fall of 2024, Edgewater Chamber of Commerce will be installing new street banners on light poles throughout our business corridors. Edgewater Chamber members are eligible to sponsor individual street banners or multiple street banners in select locations along:

• Broadway
• Clark Street
• Devon Avenue
• Granville Avenue
• Thorndale Avenue
• Foster Avenue
• Sheridan Road
• Ashland Avenue
• Ravenswood Avenue
• Peterson Avenue
• Ridge Avenue
• Hollywood Avenue

What you get: Businesses who adopt a street banner will have their organization’s name printed in text on both sides on the standard, uniform “Edgewater” neighborhood banners (two-sided) being installed throughout the neighborhood. This gives your business 24-hour visibility, year round, for a period of at least two years.

How it works: Edgewater Chamber of Commerce will secure all necessary permits, proofing, design, printing, installation, and maintenance, including reinstallation due to damaged banners at no additional cost to you throughout the year. Type font on banners will be standardized based on Edgewater Chamber design guidelines.

Pricing:

Disclaimer: Banner locations are determined on a first come, first serve basis and may be subject to availability and or City of Chicago approval procedures. Exact locations cannot be guaranteed. Edgewater Chamber staff will work with your team to identify eligible locations. Banners may not be installed on signal lights, poles currently occupied by other banners or poles with other city equipment. All street banners are designed and installed by Edgewater Chamber per the City of Chicago street pole banner ordinance. 

My business is on [insert street here]. Can I adopt-a-street-banner on a different street? Yes! As long as it is one of the eligible streets listed above. If you’re located on Devon, you can sponsor banners on Sheridan and vice versa. Even if your business doesn’t have a brick-and-mortar location, or if your business is located on Michigan Avenue in the Loop, as long as you are an Edgewater Chamber member, you can still sponsor banners on Edgewater streets.
